The Taylor Jaycees Donations

Since we are a non-profit organization, the profits from our shows are used for several charities such as the Williamson County Activity Center, Pop Werner Football, Youth Baseball Leagues, Four-H, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Baptist Children's Home, Mission Inn, etc.  We also sponsor 2 local scholarships each year.  The Taylor Jaycees use the profits and some local donations to fully fund the annual TIF Fireworks display.  Other events that we fund are The Taylor International Barbeque Cookoff, and Jaycees Labor Day Rest Stop.  In addition, this year we will be helping out at the Taylor 125th Birthday Celebration, Taylor Rodeo and Trail Ride, Taylor Junior Rodeo, and Christmas Lights at Heritage Square.  I will mention that this list does not include the smaller individual groups that come to our meetings and request donations or assistance.  Unfortunately due to the weather and our losses at the National Rattlesnake Sacking Championship and our donations will have to be decreased this year.  We are attempting to plan new fund raising events and attempting to bring back some of the old events to make sure that the charities that do depend on our donations will receive something.
