 The 31st Annual Taylor International Barbeque cookoff will be held August 15th and 16th, 2008 at Murphy Park in Taylor , TX .  In addition to the cookoff we also  have an arts and crafts show, a carnival. Gates open Saturday with judging of the meats and showmanship at 12:00 p.m. , and results approximately at 5:00 p.m. This event always proves to be an enjoyable home-town type festival where people watch the antics of the teams just being themselves (just take a look at the photos on this page). 

Tentatively, admission is $5.00.  All proceeds from the cookoff go to local charities, so come out, bring your appetite for some of the best barbeque, relax, and enjoy yourself.

One final note: Alcohol will be sold on the premises so beverages may not be brought in.
